DESCRIPTION:Understanding and Supporting Young People who are Neurodivergen
 t\n\n\n\nThis free 3-hour workshop is for people who work with youth\, pa
 rents and caregivers\, and any interested members of the community.\n\n\n\n
 The workshop will build the knowledge and skills of adults to support young
  people who have ‘diverse’ abilities and different experiences of the w
 orld (e.g. autism\, ADHD\, trauma\, mental ill-health\, sensory processing 
 needs\, FASD). It includes evidence-based information and strengths-based p
 ractices presented from the lived experience perspective.\n\n\n\nContact\n\

  The workshop will be presented in two formats\, face-to-face in Katherine

 ld at the Flinders Training Room\, Katherine Hospital (opposite ED).\n\n\n\
 nOnline WorkshopsAll online workshops will be hosted using zoom. The online
  meeting details will be emailed to you after you register. You do not need
  a zoom account to participate (you can join as a guest)\, however you will
  require data / access to the internet. A screen larger than your phone wil
 l enhance your experience (e.g. tablet or laptop)\, but is not essential.\n
