Recovery Together
A free peer education and support program for people who experience mental health and/or alcohol or drug problems.
Recovery Together provides a safe and confidential space for people to learn evidence-based strategies to support their recovery. Recovery Together is delivered by peers – people with lived experience who have bene trained to deliver the program. The NT Primary Health Network has funded a trial of the Recovery Together program in Darwin and Palmerston between October 2022 and March 2023. A limited number of programs will be delivered on the evenings or weekends.
Circles of Support
A free support program for the family & friends of people who have an alcohol or drug problem.
Circles of Support provides a safe and confidential space for the family members and friends of someone with an alcohol or drug problem, to access support and information. The Alcohol and Drug Foundation has funded a trial of the Circles of Support program in Darwin and Palmerston during 2022. A limited number of programs will be delivered.
Empowering Youth Program
An interactive, hands-on and fun program for young people with diverse abilities.
The Empowering YOUTH Program is for young people aged 12 to 17 who have diverse abilities. This includes young people who may be on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing needs or have experienced challenges that affect their wellbeing. The program is uses creative activities to explore concepts including diversity, inclusion, identity, values, self-advocacy, wellbeing and coping skills. The Empowering YOUTH Program is free to attend. Four programs have been fully funded by an NDIS Information Linkages and Capacity Building grant, to be delivered in Darwin, Palmerston, Katherine and Alice Springs.
